Hi, Emily here!

I'm the designer and founder of Zijde – a fashion brand born from a deep love of dressing up, standing out, and turning everyday life into a moment worth celebrating.

For as long as I can remember, fashion has been a huge part of who I am. It’s how I express myself, how I find confidence, and how I connect with the world. Growing up, my mum, Michelle, made sure fashion wasn’t just something we wore - it was a moment, a ritual, a way to make life feel bigger. She made everything an occasion, and after asking “Where are we going?”, the second question was always: “What should we wear?”

That mindset stuck with me. Getting dressed was never just practical - it was about feeling something. Feeling powerful, creative, unique. That love of the big moments, the bold outfits, the slightly “too much” has shaped everything that Zijde stands for. It's about turning the street into your runway, letting your personality shine through your clothes, and embracing the joy of taking up space.

Now, I’m so proud to say that Michelle has officially joined Zijde, bringing her energy, taste, elegance and passion into everything we do. Together, we design for the women who want more - more expression, more confidence, more magic in the everyday.

I truly believe that everyone has the potential to be extraordinary, and fashion can be the key to unlocking that. At Zijde, we create pieces that encourage you to be bold, to dress up, to express your individuality, and to step into your full power - unapologetically.
